We're not in Kansas anymore...

Made it to Colorado! I am currently at the "Shady Grove Wi-Fi Campground" in Seibert, CO. Yes, that means I'm laying in my tent with faster Internet than I get at my parents' house. Camping, meet the 21st century. I also just watched some guy wearing a cowboy hat drive down the road on a lawnmower, so we're talking all-around good times. Otherwise, nothing too exciting. I left Kansas City around 9am Central Time, and got to my campground in Colorado around 5pm Mountain Time. Woah, time zones. I also discovered how much of a difference a warm meal and a beer makes. Around Hays, Kansas I was really freaking tired of driving, so I pulled off and wandered a little bit, hoping to find somewhere good to eat. I found it at Thristy's, where they find it necessary to put TV's in the bathrooms, set to the Disney Channel. Not only did they have onion rings, but they also had Fat Tire beer! Which I haven't had since the last time I was in Colorado in October. I even took a picture, I was so excited. After having a good meal for the first time since leaving home, I was in a much better mood, and enjoyed the rest of the wide-open roads of Kansas/Colorado (I forgot the joys of the 75mph speed limit out here).
